How Does Pollination Occur?
Since flowers can't move, they need animals or the wind to move the pollen from the stamen to the pistil. Some plants are built so that the wind can pick up the pollen and move it from one plant to another. Flowering plants are pollinated by animals. Some animals that can move the pollen from one plant to another are bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds.
